Ok you get your dream big game hunt………………………?
If you are a male would you feel comfortable with all expert female guides both middle aged and young, on that hunt?
If you are a female would you feel comfortable with the same situation only men?
Or if you are a lady would you feel safe on a dangerous animal hunt with all ladies?
Since more males are involved in hunting and the ladies are generally the ones who are out numbered, I wanted to get some answers to see how people feel about this.

I would have no qualms whatsoever having a qualified PH who was a female. As for being the only male in the group, sounds like an old fantasy I used to have when I was younger...... ;0)

I'm afraid I might be distracted, being a single guy, but the thing about firearms, especially DG firearms, is that they are equalizers, and a 500 grain bullet at 2100 fps or more is pretty well going to stop any animal, no matter who's pressing the trigger. I've been fortunate to know some very good hunters, very level headed, and I wouldn't hesitate to hunt with any of them, male or female.
Your dream big game hunt may be anywhere, its your dream right. That means a once in a lifetime experience for most people. If you know that youre only going to do this once, you make the effort to get the best of everything. This means gear, rifle, ammo and anything else you can control. If you do this then you have taken as much chance out of the expedition as possible. Included in this is your choice of guide or companions. It makes no difference what sex they are as long as they are the best for the job at hand!
I enjoy hunting with women. It's tough to concentrate on the hunting sometimes, but that just makes it more enjoyable. In all seriousness, I would be comfortable with an experience female guide, no matter her age or looks.
I must answer truthfully and no women on the hunt period. Sorry but I'm there to hunt and I don't need to be distracted by women qualified or not. There may be lots of female hunters and even guides but I don't want them around me. Well maybe one to serve cocktails on the way back to camp. I mean you said Big Game right? So that must be Africa and that's no place for women in my opinion.
As long as the guide has good references and a decent success rate I don't care what their gender is.
Experience trumps pride every time, I'd be quite comfortable i imagine. Especially if they know what they're doing.
