Granting work permits will eventually give social security numbers as well right?
If so, is it possible to get an ID in the state of California?
I have read all the requirements to get an ID and one of them is to prove legal status. To prove legal status an authorization to work is enough. So I'm guessing driver's licenses and IDs will also be granted. Am I right?

Undocumented immigrants under the age of 30 who were brought to
the United States before the age of 16, and have lived here for at least
five continuous years are now eligible to apply for a two-year work permit
that can be renewed, as long as they adhere to certain standards :
(they cannot have a criminal record or constitute a threat to
national security,
and must be current students, high school graduates or have served in the military.

If you know that it is against the rules to speak in another language. If you want to talk in English go to server in English. And then I will answer your question but as I do not like violating the rules as dire in Spanish;
Si, estas en lo cierto. Es posible obtener esas dos cosas despues de inmigrar a otro lugar.
here you will find all the information, and view the requirements you need to qualify.
