My fiancé wants to join the British army would we be able to live together?
My fiancé wants to join the British army we would like to know if we will need to be married to live together? We have a 2 year old son and I'm 13 weeks pregnant.
The answer is not as straight forward as previous answers suggest.
I recommend contacting Army Welfare. Although I'm in the RN, I have met men who have not been married, but have been entitled to a quarter, as they have to care for children.
Not during training, no; however, once basic and trade training is complete you would be entitled to family-based accommodation on barracks. Alternatively, you can rent or buy privately.

If you wish to gain more information on the matter, have your fiancé call into your local AFCO. Good luck.

Yes you will need to be married to be entitled to Military Housing.
Best of luck to you and your fiance and congratulations on your 2nd child.
