She should talk to him and tell him she's worried. If he can't be understanding of her insecurities I don't think she should be with him, in a lasting relationship you need to be kind to your partner. Being a dic* about someone's worries would be a serious red flag.
It's weird he has many female friends tho, I doubt any man/woman can truly be 100% platonic (maybe no one acts on it, but I doubt there's absolutely no desire there).
