Love Advice : The way I grew up I was taught to be quiet , couldn’t express my feelings .But the way he grew up was the total opposite,?
He was taught to be vocal and to express himself . We love each other but broke up because of that . Any advice on what I can do that will make it easier for me between him .

OPPOSITE attracts. My husband & I were brought up differently. Him being American, me being Asian. If you can't work things out, on YOUR OWN while dating, then there's NO FUTURE in that.
"He was taught to be vocal and to express himself ." That's HOW it should be. If that doesn't work, how is BE YOURSELF all about, if you can't express yourself?
Some therapy might help as well as voice and/or acting training. These are really good at undoing the conditioning you've received growing up to be quiet. You'll notice the different very quickly.
First thing you have to do is going in therapy
Your childhood left some [ black] marks on your personality and your soul
Its not normal to shut up all the time
and if you want to go back to him without therapy
it will not last
because your main problem is not resolve
