Put an X on train for Ming, because it says he does not listen to language tapes on the train.

Because Russian is learned on the bus, we know it's not learned in the car, train, or at home; put an X in all those spots for Russian.

Because we know Smythe is a Ms., Leon's and Theo's last name can't be Smythe. Put an X for Leon Smythe and Theo Smythe.

This means Leon's last name has to be Ming. Put a dot for Leon Ming and an X for Diana Ming, Norma Ming, and Theo Ming.

Because Ming does not ride the train, that means Leon doesn't ride the train, which means he has to ride the bus, and means he is the one learning Russian.
