Laptop expertise needed! Good laptop for casual use for around €500?
It can't be too expensive since my parents won't pay for it. I just want a nice laptop that will allow me to skype with friends, go on social media and watch movies. My budget is 500 euros and even though I've seen many laptops for that price, I don't know which one is the best..

I suggest Asus brand; one of the best brands and has lot of different series so you can find whatever you need

I was gonna buy a HP, but my son the computer nerd told me that for the same money ASUS is a better bargain. Paid only $35 extra and got a bigger screen and 4 more gigs of ram. I know its not euros but it cost me $400 Canadian after taxes and with an extended warranty. according to the web, it is 265 euro
