I want to get into a series that can suck me in, and I normally have those with long series, such as Naruto, have that effect on me.
So, if you could rate the storyline, plot, flow of development, characters, how sucked in you became when you first watched it on a scale of one to ten, what would you give?
And any other information you feel like giving.
Thank you. :]

Storyline/Plot: 8- It's pretty good. The plot is pretty original and interesting. However, at times, the plot can be a bit boring or silly (like in a stupid way coughgoingtothefuturetogetstronger)
Flow of development: 7- it's pretty boring for 20 episodes and then the real stuff begins >:)... at least it's not like D. Gray-man where it takes 50 episodes to actually get to the good stuff. The fillers can get boring (for me at least because I look forward to the fighting scenes)
Characters: Over 9000!!! xD. I. ABSOLUTELY. LOVE. EVERY. KHR. CHARACTER!!! They're very original and each of them has a personality that you just can't not like.. even Lambo and Chrome... but maybe excluding Haru and Kyoko because they're not important xD. Also, the character themes that play when the character's around are amazing and fit their personality and/or mood perfectly.
I'm going to add reviews on other stuff you didn't mention... because I can rant on about KHR for a long time xD (sorry ^-^')
Soundtrack: Over 9000! It has the most epic soundtrack everrrr... even more epic than Bleach or D. Gray-man. The music really enhanced the mood of each scene :)... For example, when Tsuna gets into Hyper Dying Will Mode and "Tsuna Awakens" plays... it just makes everything so much more intense and bad-@$$ >:D. And the character songs... I absolutely love themmmm. You should listen to some. :)
Art: 7- it's meh-y... I guess it's on the same level as Bleach and D. Gray-man and other long-running shonen anime (probably excluding Soul Eater). It's not bad or anything but I've seen much better like Angel Beats or Highschool of the Dead. The coloring style is much different from the mangaka's... but I guess that's a good thing because I think she adds too much pink to the cheek, mouth and nose area xD.
Animation: 8- I guess it's alright. If they can make everything epic-looking then I guess it's acceptable xD.
Voice Acting: 9- the voices fit everyone really well :) I love Squalo's voice (VOIIIIIIIIII) and Hyper Dying Will Tsuna's voice *swoons* and Mukuro's voice (kufufu) and Hibari's voice (kamikorosu) and... <rambles on and on and on about voices xD>
When I first watched it... I would have probably given it a 7 because it seemed really boring and stupid...
But after watching the whole thing, I would definetly give it a 9. It's really good overall but there are some flaws (like art... but it's a long-running anime... so not much can be done xD).
What got me so absorbed in the anime is probably the fight scenes and the characters. The fight scenes were unique and they varied (like they weren't always swordfights coughbleach or ninja fights coughnaruto). The fights were epic enough and the bad-@$$ music made the fights even more intense and EXTREME!!!! The characters got me absorbed into this anime because they are just soo loveable <3. Even the villains are so loveable... except for Daemon Spade... he's a creeper xD. I just wanna stuff all of the characters in a bag and take them home with me and have them all to myself xD....
Ahhhhhhhh... done ranting about Rebornnnnn.....
PS during the breaks that occur during the middle of the anime, Reborn says "Reborn" and then he says it again (when the show
comes back from the break). It's really irritating and I wanna shoot Reborn xD. Just giving you a warning about that really irritating part xD
It's literally handsdown the BEST anime I've watched so far.
Storyline: 9, though it's slow in the first 20-25 episodes, the Daily Life Arc, it will definitely pick up the pace. The first few episodes are mainly to introduce the characters, have you feel some connection to them, and let you understand their personalities.
Plot: 9, though it's a loooong anime, it's multi-layered, so things aren't as simple as you think they are.
Flow of development: 10, right when you think to yourself, wow that's amazing, how much better could it get? Amano (the author and illustrator) really outdoes herself, always coming up with newer, better, more exciting, and more challenging things. Even though the anime is ended as of now, I still find myself following the manga like a hawk.
Characters: 10+, KHR has some of the oddest characters who give you the first impression of, who the heck is that, and what the crap are they doing (cough Lambo LOL you will love him). But eventually you'll feel that the weirdities are actually what makes you able to love the characters even more.
How sucked in you became when you first watched it: Well the first few episodes were a bit light and airy, so I watched it because it had a great dose of comedy (I think I watched KHR after Death Note, so I was more than ready for a lighter anime lol). Later on though, it's extremely addicting (though there are some fillers, but I watched those, and they weren't your usual boring ones), and you never, ever, have to force yourself in the tiniest bit, to watch the next episode. I watched most on my iTouch with the Crunchyroll app, and I was up in the morning 1:00 to 2:00 a.m. watching even on school nights.. heh heh.
On a scale of one to ten, what would you give?: 10+++, watch it, you will definitely not regret it!
Other: KHR is something you can watch and love for a long time after you've finished most of the series. The manga art starts out average, but as it progresses the details and quality of the art keeps on getting better, almost as if Amano is competing with her own art vs. storyline.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn was my favorite anime by far. It really sucked me in after the first few episodes. The idea is so creative and totally unlike anything I've ever seen before. The plot never gets boring and as and the development is wonderful. As you go along you learn each one of the characters' stories and find yourself getting attached to certain characters (for me, I fell in LOVE with Gokudera). I give it an 11/10.
Some things I think you should know:
The first chunk is a bunch of hilarious "slice of life" episodes that are mainly for introducing/developing characters. I love the characters! They have so many peculiarities that get them in trouble in hilarious fashions. They are so random and funny that I immediately loved it.
The next chunk is more about fighting.
After that, it returns to "slice of life" humor for a while, again, and the plot for the next arc is set up.
With this next arc, the show gets 200x more epic. There are major jumps in the plot, and it makes it most worth watching because it is grittier. This arc begins around episode 76.
Definitely watch it! It's one of my absolute favorites. Just thought you should know it's a bit unpredictable at times.
Storyline: 8
Plot: 6 or 7 at first, but then with that arc I just got into 8

ok if your watching KHR they start the REAL plot around episode 20
then it becomes all cool!!!~
if i were to rate after episode 20
story: 9/10
development: 10/10 (since they develop a plot)
characters: 10/10 (the anime is really cool*art style* the manga is too)
after episode 20 then you get like addicted to it ;33
It's better than Bleach and Naruto at least.

I think it is a really good series. You should try it. It does really good in having things happen unexpectedly sometimes, which makes it more exciting for me
