Okay so I'm learning Korean for fun and then I get across the consonant Rieul. It states that it can be used as both R and L but how do I know which one to pronounce?
In reality, really rarely would ㄹ sound like an R. It almost always sounds like an L, even when you're pronouncing english words cuz you're gonna pronounce them the korean way.

It can be used as R sound for foreign words that begin with the letter R.
