I wrote this poem about a week ago. The song that inspired me to write this is one of the new ones. Song # 134 "See Yourself When All Is New." Please let me know what your thoughts are, if you think I should change anything, and what you do or do not like about it.

New World
Just picture yourself for a moment
In a world brand new
This now dark world
Would be behind you
The trees and the flowers
All colorful and bright
The faces of the people
With no hint of fright
Imagine, a wolf and a lamb
Living in peace
All sickness and death
Will then be made to cease
No tears to cry
And no sight to fear
Because in this world
There is a reason to cheer!
The evil one
Will then have perished
And the only one left
Is the one we’ll cherish
For he kept his promise
And gave us everlasting life
To live in a world of peace
And free of strife!

it pictures the now as a dark depressive time. that is what i dont like.
what i do like is that if the person reading this is in a dark time he/she can find solace in the poem.
This literally brought tears to my eyes. It's such a wonderful hope that I thank Jehovah for every day. what other religion provides such an awesome future hope? I am so glad for the hope of paradise. I've been going through a lot of stressful times and as soon as I read this, it made me feel a lot better. THANK YOU SO...SO MUCH for this poem.
