Most people are very surprised at the number of beliefs shared by the Baha’is and the Jehovah’s Witnesses. And that has me wondering: Is there anything about the Baha’i Faith that you do not understand? I am not asking if there is anything you disagree with. I am not looking for controversy, only understanding. So please limit your responses to only the things that you do not understand, whether the station of Baha’u’llah, Baha’i history, beliefs or principles. I am not by any means an official spokesperson for the Baha’i Faith, so what I give you will be only from my own understanding. However, I expect to be able to fully support any reply that I give.
I do not expect to respond to any replies to this question in Additional Details to this question. What I do expect to do is to take each separate response and ask a question later with my explanation attached. Currently things are in a flux here at home and it is possible that I may be off of the Internet for a few days. But God willing even should I be unable to reply for a while, I will be back.
One final note: there may be some of you that for whatever reason prefer not to publicly share your questions and comments. Asking you to email me violates Yahoo Community Guidelines. However, that said, there is a reason I keep my email open.
Peace to one and all, both you and yours
And thank you in advance for your answers.

A couple things that have me puzzled...
Is Bahu'u'llah as important to you as Jesus Christ? And if so, how could that be when there was only one that died for our sins?
And, why would we need additional spiritual guidance separate from Scripture?
What do you mean Armaggedon started already in 1914? Please expalin...
How much more corruption will we see on the earth, According to the Bahai faith, until everything just sort of works out?
Ok...One last related question: Man was born into sin, so how could man ever do what God could and will do for mankind?
That's it, for now. :)
If Baha’i is similar to Jehovah's Witnesses then do Baha’i also disfellowship members through the use of God's name, Jehovah?
I am thinking in terms of this end time prophetic scripture:
Isaiah 66:5
5 Hear the word of Jehovah, YOU men who are trembling at his word: “YOUR brothers that are hating YOU, that are excluding YOU by reason of my name, said, ‘May Jehovah be glorified!’ He must also appear with rejoicing on YOUR part, and they are the ones that will be put to shame.”
Which depending on your answer I continue to believe can ONLY be fulfilled by the Jehovah's Witnesses.
So how does excommunication work in the Baha’i Faith?
I like your take in some of the responses you have given. I have not done research on your belief/faith. You said something awhile back that puzzled me. It's in reference to your belief in praying for and/or bringing about the unity of humanity or mankind. Does your belief say this will be possible? I'm not sure if I properly understood your meaning, or misconstrued it ?
I feel, through Biblical scriptures/references, this would not be possible without Divine help and the removal of sinful filled humans and a new government, of God's making (Rev.21:3,4, etc.)
Note- in the very first book Genesis. After the flood, the Bible makes it a point to mention the sons of Noah and the sons of those sons. The sons of Japheth...The sons of Ham...The sons of Shem. From these sprang ALL the different nationalities/nations ( Medes-Persians-Greeks-Romans-Germanic-Phoenicians-Amorites-Egyptians-Hittites-Asians-Africans-Europeans-etc.) Why is this point brought out? It seems to me God is making a powerful point here in what he has done with the various nations of the world, from the very start.
In the very beginning the sons of Ham were prominent. Then the sons of Shem made a tremendous impact upon the world during the time of David and Solomon. It indicates that all three, whether a son of Shem, Ham or Japheth, They are incapable of ruling this world. It seems God is demonstrating this to us.
No matter the race, nation, the many government types tried, or religion, faith, it's beyond our power.
Was also wondering if your faith has a founder(s) One who claims as a prophet ? Personally I become a bit leery when one comes along making claims in this view. A person or persons who have seated themselves in positions of being sole inspirations, when Christ said that ALL may come to HIM freely. I realize there are teachers, but when one seats himself as the sole source for your salvation they take it upon themselves too far. And Jesus warned, 'Many will come in my name"...
Thanks.
Most religions share some beliefs together, it's meaningless and not a bond you have together, unless your worship the one truth God.
Those that truly claim Christianity would consider these scriptures:
“Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For . . . what fellowship does light have with darkness? . . . And what agreement does God’s temple have with idols?” They have absolutely nothing in common. For us to share with Jehovah (and I will use that name for the true God-not Allah) and try to share with demons at the same time would be “inciting Jehovah to jealousy.” That would be sheer folly!
You cannot be drinking the cup of Jehovah and the cup of demons; you cannot be partaking of "the table of Jehovah" and the table of demons.
Do you read it differently? Or are you saying they are misled by God's word the bible and all faiths can be at peace with one another as they share common bonds, and therefore calling their God a liar?
I remember you. I don't belief the Baha'i shares many core beliefs with Christianity at all.
Such false teachings of the Baha'i Faith are against our Christian God. So I don't understand you even comparing the two
Jesus Christ is the foundation upon which Christianity rests - not one of several manifestations as Baha'i insist. So they don't share that belief.
The infallible Shogi Effendi declared that Christ did not rise from the dead -- thereby invalidating 2000 years of Christianity. This is false, and directly contradicts the Gospels. And Christians should be no part of people teaching this because they like them
To accept the premise of Bahu'llah, I would have to accept the equality of islam to Christianity, and this is impossible. Allah is a false god, a monotheistic artifice of the head of the pagan Arab pantheon. Islam is a scam, designed solely to place Mohammad the pirate in a position to have more sex, power and money. The teachings of Islam are diametrically opposed to Christianity, and the differences are irreconcilable. To accept Baha'i as legitimate, I would have to accept Allah as the God of Jesus. If Allah is a being, he is more akin to Satan than YHWH. I refuse to be in the presence of Allah, therefore I have to reject Bahu'llah.
Jehovah God or Allah, you cannot follow both.
You feel both beliefs can be friends. That is against what the bible teaches.
They deny there is right and wrong. So they don't share that belief in common
They deny one can know God. So they don't share that in common
Baha'i deny that man fell through Adam from his original spiritual and moral state. They affirm that no one is "essentially" bad or evil, but merely imperfect. Sins are characteristics of the lower, baser plane of nature, and education brings deliverance from them. So they don't share that
Baha stated that there is no sin-atoning value in Christ's sacrificial death on the cross. They don't share that belief
They call our God a liar by doing this. And I don't find that a common denominator
God has revealed His Word in each period of history through a chosen Individual whom Baha'is call the Manifestation of God, or Messenger of God. That is not what the bible teaches.
They have been indoctrinated to believe their education is best. And tend to think they are smarter, when most don't reason well at all but talk in circles. Most are in a a psychological philosophical state. characterized by delusions of grandeur. Thinking men like themselves can solve the earth's problems. (Satan likes men like this to promote the idea we don't need our God, many men have always loved that idea)., Where Christians are warned against false philosophies that tickle the ear but are empty. While we can appreciate some of the teachings, the hippys had their philosophers too. They are still adding to the immorality of the world as the Bala'i faith has with their claims of being neutral on much badness going on in today's world just like the 60s brought in more corruption.
So, the question is what is this number of beliefs you think you have in common with JWS or Christianity?
What kind of leadership does the Baha'i faith have ? One leader like the Pope, or a governing body like the JWs ?. I was not aware that requesting emails was in violation of any Yahoo guidelines, that is silly.
Does the Bahai faith teach that the Bible is enough and that we shouldn't go beyond it? 2 Timothy 3:16.
I haven't done a lot of research into it. Feel free to email me whatever you want to share.
