You are well-known to ignore such signs based on the belief that you are “not selling anything.” In other words, you interpret the word “solicitation” to mean selling.
But what do you think householders mean when they post such a sign on their property?
Has it occurred to you that it doesn’t matter to them whether you are selling religious literature or simply asking for “voluntary donations?” Either way, when a property owner puts such a sign on his/her property, has it occurred to you that the person doesn’t welcome religious proselytization?

It is hard for me to get up and even answering the door then i have to stop my dog from biting whoever is on the other side. all this makes my nerve condition worse and i havnt even opened the door yet!! So sure go ahead and ignore the no soliciting sign on my door. your causing harm. and its RUDE. BTW not all "laws" are good ones.
Here’s what one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses wrote in response to a similar question:
“I will ignore a No Religious Solicitation sign for the simple reason that the Supreme Court of the U.S.A. says we are not Solicitors. Since we are doing charitable religious work, those signs do not really apply to us.”
So pretty much the only way to avoid visits from the Jehovah’s Witnesses is to call the nearest Kingdom Hall and asked that all visits cease. But this only works for one calendar year. So you will need to call again at the end of the 12 month period.
Jehovah’s Witnesses will ignore all signs saying you don’t want religious visits.
Hey we are only going with our legal rights. Simply say no, or thank you. How easy is that? Didn't cost you anything. You don't have to buy a sign to say no. Just as it is your right of free speech to say these things, so can we. We are only following Jesus's example in going from house to house, so much for what I can say about others who profess to be Christ's followers.
They just wanted to leave the friendly message that doomsday is near.
they have no brain to process anything.
