Such a person would be 99 years or older, if I’m doing the math correctly.
How many JWs from that generation are still alive (approximately)? And when they are all deceased, does this mean that Armageddon is very near?

That Watchtower says that since 1914 the word has made a drastic chance.
We have seen the start of the very first "world war" followed by the 2nd in which over 50 million people died.
Since that time the world has escalated in all kinds of trouble.
Jehovah's Witnesses had expectations that Jesus would start his kingdom on earth which did not happen.
Wrong expectations does not mean that we stop serving God and stop doing the things he wants us to do.
"The generation" that hoped to see Armageddon in that time is very old as you said and most of them are dead.
We don't know God's time table and we acknowledge that.
It does not mean that the end is not going to come.
According to Bible prophecy, it will come when all the signs are being fulfilled.
Jehovah's Witnesses lead normal lives. We work , go to school, play sport, watch movies, socialise , have parties etc.
We do keep things in balance and in everything we will keep Bible principles in mind.
That is why Jehovah's Witnesses refuse to go out in war.
When Jesus said that the generation would not pass away, he wasnt speaking about a single generation, but a group. For example, your fathers generation included people of all ages living at that time.
jehovah is pagan the letter j does not exist before 500 years and so is jesus also pagan
