i’ve been scammed, what do i do?
i’m an idiot i know. spare me the insults.
I went online to sell something on craigslist, got this guy who was interested. send me a check, had me cash it and send it to him through walmart to walmart or whatever that service is. a few days later, i’m in debt. what do i do?

Next time read the information on Craiglist. It says to deal with people in person, for cash.
"Deal locally, face-to-face —follow this one rule and avoid 99% of scam attempts."
If you are able to locate or identify the seller, call the police, and sue him (small claims court if possible). Even if you can't locate the seller, file a police report and/or contact the attorney general in your state. They may be able to find this person.
Which is why I never use Craigslist, it's full of scams.
Your fault here. You didn't charge enough for the shipping or you over spent from the check.
He didn't scam you, you practically scammed your self.
