Ok, we usually train our dogs to live with our habits but can they teach us to become a better human being? I mean like "unconditional love and loyalty" or become a better parent and be patient. Do you see this relationship as equal or your dog(s) is "something to fit your needs"?
Of course you set rules like parents do for their kids but what about their socialization and making friends and even mate and have family?
Your dog(s) will do just about anything you ask to please you what did you do for him/her lately?
How do you return their loyalty and love?
My dogs saved me lately and my 15 years old GS has a serious injury in her leg how can I return that?

My dogs saved me from an irresponsible owner who was training his american bulldog for dogfights by letting him off-leashed and commanded him to attack me. I was lucky to get away with some stiches and a minor surgery in my hand.- I had a question the day before yesterday about that where you can see the story (someone asked)
And I have 6 dogs (German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Bullmastiff, Fox terrier, mini-Poodle, Doberman) :))
