Is there anything more annoying than missing out on a cool Event or Happening because you’re sick?
I"d love to hear your story of the biggest thing that you have ever missed out on because you had the FLU.

yea missing out for no reason
I had a mass flu on the day of the school disco.
My school takes the disco VERY seriously, it's the biggest event of the school year. I went out and bought $260 worth of clothes, lollies and chocolate to share, getting my hair done, new makeup, ect. After that, I had $15 left in my account.
That morning I woke up, and started getting ready. I put my dress on and was looking at myself in the mirror, when BLURK. Sick ALL over my $135 dress. The rest of the day I was sick as a dog.
Afterward, my friends told me I missed the first kiss of my two bestfriends, one of the teachers breaking his ankle and the ambulance being called, and about five of my friends dancing around like morons.
Yeah, I was pretty devistated.
Worst thing? Haha I had the flu too, I had fever and cold at the same time! It was my grandfathers 80th birthdAy party, I love my grandfather so much that I HAD to attend it, but I had the fever so my father told me to stay! In his party, there were magiciAns and other entertainment! So what I did was to call a taxi to bring me to the other side of the city (30 mins trip) when I got there, everybody was silent and was watching some slideshows, and throughout the party I was sneezing, coughing, going in and out on the bathroom, I kept on vomiting. I think I was the one who brought entertainment in that party instead of the dancers and singers etc. It was the most embarassing day ever! My nose was all runny like hell! Lol trust me, it's better to stAy at home xD but luckily, I attended the party, but I got grounded and scolded in the end.
I missed out going out with my friends coz of a flu
I've never missed any events because I don't get sick that often, but when I do get sick, I miss school (sometimes when we have field trips) and/or hanging out with friends somewhere. etc.
