Recently I heard of a case where the parents of one 7-year-old girl were pressuring the state to charge another 7-year-old girl with being a sex offender after touching their 7-year-old girl's genitаia on the playground.
The first thing I could think was that they were trying to get free money out of it, of course, but what do you think?
Update:I'd agree with Todd, but Yahoo's censors will not allow me to pick a best answer on this one.
Though it wasn't a headline, just something I heard about some people I know that know those involved. I believe either they or the authorities decided or girls will like girls and let it go.
Oh, and to Jack Booted Thugs, there was no indication of political preferences, this occurred in semi-affluent, middle-class suburb, and afaik there were no minority children involved.

We are a nation of cowards. We're not brave enough to confront the people that we don't agree with, so we send our cowardly law makers to make laws that shield us from them. Then while we merely go about our business, free from having to engage those whom we are afraid of, the laws we have created grow legs and gobble up our young people.
If we were to devote the time and energy required to care for ourselves and our children, and not depend on law makers and corporations to do it for us, this headline you mention would never have happened.
Enjoy liberals, that is what they are.
The real problem is that lawyer used to be a prestigious profession, so lots of people wanted to be lawyers. The supply of lawyers exceeded society's actual need for laywers, so they had to create demand to justify their roles. One of the best ways is by filing lawsuits and petitioning for large sums of money for their clients... of which the laywers get a cut, which makes even more people want to be lawyers. This led to the situation we have today.
Hell yes, getting so tired of everyone whining.
Yep, they are after easy money, no one seems willing to work for what they want any longer.
thats crazy. kids don't know what they're doing at that age in my opinion. i would be more worried about the one their trying to sue. She's either seen that before, heard about it, or its been done to her. i'd have a closer look.
Maybe they are just trying to send a message to the other girls parents.Lets face it, there are a lot of low life parents out there that are doing a piss poor job at raising their kids.Decency, and respect are the first things to teach your kids.
Seriously seven years old....our nation deserves to burn!
