Most scientists identified those places as where the viruses go from an animal to a human then from a human to human. This time they owe it to themselves and to the world to stop the disgusting practices of wet markets.
Conspiracy theories aside, no. Viruses evolve and in some cases are transmitted from another species to humans. That is not the fault of any government, it’s simply the nature of viruses.
Either that or their bushmeat/wet markets. Africa has the same problem, and that's where exotic deadly diseases such as Marburg, Lassa fever, Ebola have originated by jumping species to humans
