Is it still good if it’s best by date is in August 2017? It’s currently January 24th 2018. I just don’t want to get sick if it isn’t good. These entrées aren’t frozen
Was it meant to be frozen, and was just in the cold part of the fridge, or is it a shelf-stable food that can sit on the shelf without spoiling? If it is shelf-stable then yes, it is safe to eat. The date is only a best-by date, there is no such thing as an expiry date. If the food was meant to be frozen and is not, then absolutely do not eat that.
