I think he is the real deal. I like him. Is he perfect? No. But no one is, especially among the candidate running against him. He has his problems, but they are minor compared to those of the other candidates.
McCain has voted for amnesty every chance he has gotten, but recently I heard him say that he had never been for amnesty. What a liar. Huckabee has nurmerous of those kinds of things, Guilani has a lot of skeletons in his closet waiting for the dems to bring out during the general election. Yes, Mitt has his minor problems but the others have huge problems.
I can't imagine being a candidate and having every word disected and spun to say what he didn't mean it to say.
I really get tired of people complaining about Mitt hiring a landscaping company that hired illegals. When I hired a firm to replace my roof I didn't go outside and interview each man working on my roof to see if he was legal or illegal. I didn't hire the individual men, I hired the company. It was their responsibility to make sure the workers were legal. That is how it was with Mitt, and any open minded person will understand that.
I have heard him talk about his change from pro-abortion to pro-life. It made sense because it happened when he had one of those pivot points in life when you have an epiphany.
Mitt Romney is a Republican version of John Kerry. If you vote for him, you are basically voting for a Democrat, because there is no way he will pull swing votes from Moderates in this country.
romney's an opportunistic phony who's willing to espouse any position he thinks might get him a vote-he's all for torture, and is even willing to sell alcohol at campaign events, in direct opposition to his supposed devout faith

Mitt Romney has serious character issues:
He refused to pardon a decorated Iraq veteran of a BB Gun charge so he could become a police officer.
He hired a company that used illegal aliens for his lawnwork and then he whines about illegal immigrants.
He spoke about watching his dad march with Martin Luther King. Not true.
When running for MA Senator he said he was pro-choice and now he is pro-life. I liked him better the other way.
Neither Rudy or Mittens have any credibility. Of the bunch of republicans McCain is at least an honest person.
No, Mitt Romney is the BEST overall candidate.

Romney is the only candidate with character - no "bimbos" in the closet either
