From a man's point I can comment that its the right thing for him to propose and in a proper manner. You as a lady in fact deserves to be carried on his hands and you deserves the absolute best if he wants to get married to you and spend the rest of his life with you and his child.

I sincerely think you should start by making sure if he really wants to commit. I also suggest that you take the set that you bought and return it to the shop. As I said it is the role of the man to propose and in a rightful manner. Save your money and make sure he wants to commit.

I wouldn't spend my money if I were you. You may need it to help raise the child if he decides to take off once he gets here.
