Let’s say I got my supervisor a gift for Christmas, and I realized she wont back until late March because she is sick on short term, will it be rude of me to just take the gift back and give it to someone else and throw the card I got her out? Its been sitting in my locker the whole time and I know she isn’t going to be back and it would be too weird to give her the gift late when she comes back! The manager won’t give me her address to send the gift to her and isn’t allowed to leave it on her desk until she comes back and I have a problem with holding onto gifts the whole entire time.
If I took the gift back, threw the card out, and just gave the candy to someone else because she wont return for a long time or is out sick until further notice, will this be rude of me?

That's entirely up to you and your conscience.
You purchased the gift for her and it's not her fault she got sick so, by all rights, that gift is hers even if it takes months before she's available to receive it.
If you have already givin the gift to her or you told her about the gift it would be terribley rude but if you havent given it to her yet then I dont see a problem
I don't see why it would be rude, she never knew you got her a gift in the first place.
