So we have a holiday booked for Paris in July, I m on a tight budget now because my partner doesn t work right now so my wage is paying everything. I need to know if €800 would do for me and my kid for a week?
Disneyland is already paid for as is the accomodation..its just really spending money and food. I m really panicking in case I run out. Any help would be appreciated!

First of all you mention 800 pounds. You get about 31% more converted to euros. Just be careful with all your spending. Souvenirs and gifts - think cards or small not costly items. Learn quickly the metro (subway) system. Taxis will go through your 800 in a flash. Check ALL the attractions - Some have free days and closed days and depending on your age may also be free. . Check these things carefully and buy or get a good guide book and probably avoid famous tours. Do like man y French-
buy breakfast at a boulangerie (bakery) or a supermarket take away or eat
cous cous - falafel or pizza. A gourmet French restaurant can cost you hundreds of pounds (euros). Ask in your hotel for good not expensive eateries.
Being so careful - the 800 should make it. Oh be careful in the touristic area with fake beggars and quite a few scam artists. Some areas like Montmartre are notorious for people stealing your money Follow the internet at sites like

That should be plenty enough. There are lots of cheap places to eat in Paris.
To save money travelling round Paris look at the link for metro books of tickets and passes.
That should be plenty. If you want to eat well for more reasonable amounts, don't sit down within sight of any of the major tourist attractions, just go a couple of streets away and look for cafés there, and ask about things like the 'plat du jour', which is the dish of the day.
