I saw the Berlin Philharmonic at the Waldbühne on TV and am quite impressed! It was so beautiful and loved it! I would very much like to relocate to Germany!
Could someone who lives in Germany tell me what it is like to live in Berlin, Frankfurt, or Duesseldorf either of which I am thinking of moving to.
Do you think I will get bored once I have settled in there?
It is not as good as I think once I have started living there?
Am I dreaming too much do you think?
What do you say?

Unless you are a German or other EU citizen you will have a very hard time to get the paperwork done.
Unless you are rich and do not need to work or can afford setting up your own business.
You will need a resident permit and a work visa if you plan running your own business also be aware of taxes.
Be aware without speaking German there is no decent job.
BTW marrying a German will only give you a residence permit not the work visa contrary to widespread myth also be aware American degrees are not automatically recognized you will need to pass exams in German to get the degrees recognized.
I would have to say you are dreaming too much. Mostly because you have decided this on a Philharmonic. Berlin is up there in the top 5 Philharmonics in the world. Which means, they probably go on tours every year or two. So rather then relocating to another country just go see them
u can do if u hv a high degree or marry you to a German woman,
life as an illegal alien can be funny too!
