If you won an £100 million lottery, would you play again to try and win?
I ask because people are saying that Rooney is entitled to seek a greater pay rise despite th fact that he is a multi millionaire. I do not see the difference between the two scenarios.
answer no. If I won £100 million, why would I even waste my time playing the lottery? I would be jetting and yachting through the Pacific and southern Asia and being treated like a king.
There are so many better things I would do with my life. Oh now I see the rest of your question/theory.............. Rooney is a greedy little Liverpuddlian. He blossomed with Man U. Then he slams the door in their faces. Oh so that is OK?
It's not going to be just about having the money to spend, athletes also use salary as a method of self evaluation of their talents. i.e Players seek to be the highest paid player of a certain club, league or even the entire world for the recognition that would bring. It happens in almost all sports. Rooney's motivation you ask? Bettering C. Ronaldo's salary.
I suppose people see a difference because winning the lottery is through luck, it's not certain, whereas if Rooney goes somewhere else, he's fairly likely to get a bigger wage. Still stupid in my opinion though :P
i wouldn't because you just won money and have ensured yourself financial security. If you were to play again and win you would deny others that same security. while it would be nice to win again, you shouldn't be selfish when there are others with little under 5 dollars to their names.
