If you had a £1000 budget to buy a second hand car what would you buy?
must be fairly economical and looks nice and be comfortable
but being reliable is the most important thing of course!
i know this can be a tall order for £1k but...

might be just able to get an early Peugeot 206
A '94/'96 Honda Civic, or a '92 VW Golf
For that price, it'd have to be a high mileage one. Best to purchase one with full service history, and no modifications (so it's not been thrashed). Make sure you take somebody who knows car with you
