I questioned my honesty the other day while doing my grocery shopping!
A lady behind me with her trolley found a purse on the shelf right behind where I was standing and asked if it were mine, I said no, so the lady took it to the manager.
While she were gone *took about two minutes* I stood and thought about if I would have done that, wondering if I would have taken out any money or not, and felt a swarm of guilt over come me when the lady returned and said that the purse belonged to an elderly woman who lodged a lost property claim.
It bothered me so much for doubting my honesty that when I returned home I mentioned to my husband what had happened, he kindly reminded me that for the last few years the most dishonest thing I have played apart in, was when I walked out of a shop without paying for my item, and that it was only because I was late in picking him up from work!
So, after saying all that,
My answer to your question is,
I'd be tempted to keep some of the money, but I'd hand it all into the police and live guilt free, just as I did when I returned my accidentally stolen item!
Truth be told, I would most likely keep it. For a little whiole at least. Give it some thought, that kind (amount) of money belobgs to someone. If its dirty money (like drugs) and you kept it, you better hope and pray the person who it belongs to never ever finds out you got it. If it is from like a bank, well eventually you may end up getting caught. Either way you'll have more problems than you want. So I would lean towards turing it in. BUT until I did I would keep an eye/ear open to see what was in the news about it.
Honestly, I don't know. Maybe if it was a much smaller amount, I would definitely keep it. But with a million pounds, things you could do with it are quite tempting yet all the same, terrible things could start to happen because of it.
Depends, how much is 1 million pounds in American dollars? Just kidding! I really believe in karma, so probably give it back hoping for something good to come back to me.
I would hand it to the police... some big criminal dude is probably looking for it... and if someone doesnt come to claim it within 30 days... its mine anyway...!!
i would give it to the cops just to be safe incase it is all fack and then you get the plame when you try to spend it. Place after wards they may be nice and give it back, well what they don't take for them selfs.

I would hand it to the police. I could not live with myself if I kept it. Money is not more important than your self respect.

I would give it to the police, they might let me keep some and I would not have that nasty feeling in my stomache
