there is no such thing as twice as cold. there is such a thing as twice as hot or half as hot. assuming you mean zero degrees Ferenheit, which is the same as 255.222 Kelvin, half as hot as that is 127.611, or -229.700 degrees Ferenheit, an impossibly cold temperature (except in space). If that's not what you meant, then we need a point of reverence. if the point of reference is "room temperature" (lets say 67 degrees), then twice as cold as zero would be -35 degrees ferenheit, a cold day in Minnesota in the Winter. And, oh year Airborne!
I think it would be double the difference between normal temp and zero. You have to have a baseline normal. It's like being twice as sick....compared to what??
