Constantly, I hear conductors announcing and telling passengers to not hold train doors open. They said…to prevent delays, just take the next train. But don’t they realize how many times I’ve been late for work because I’ve been considerate and waited for the next train? When I wait almost 15 minutes for the next train (sometimes longer) and that next train is as slow as a turtle, then these conductors need to understand why we run and hold train doors. If these trains would run on schedule with a short wait time, then we would not have to hold train doors open. Don’t they realize that?
