I work in a small office/department where I'm the only male and I've been here three months. My boss and the other women in the office routinely talk about personal issues, usually dating. However, whenever I bring up something non-work related, they quickly change the subject - even though I bring up pretty harmless topics like weekend plans or my volunteer work.
After a really stressful and busy few weeks, my boss told one of my colleagues to make a lunch run and that work would pay for it because she "deserved it." She made no such offer to me and, in fact, never acknowledged the fact that for a month I worked weekends and was spending 10-12 hour days in the office.
I hate to sound whiney, but I feel like I’ve walked into a private party and that I’m really not welcome.

I don't know for sure. But the way I see it as long as you're doing your job right then that's all that matters. If you don't feel very comfortable there then you can always find a different job.
