never wreck havoc. What is the reason you're being fired? Job performance?, lateness?, insubordination?... If you want this job, change their reason for firing you.
Keep in mind that if you do get fired, you want to be able to use this employer as a reference of how good an employee you are.
Haha messing stuff up is tempting isnt it? Presuming they havent walked you out yet, use your time left to get contact info from anyone i the company that is on your side and cn vouch for your good work as a reference.
Then leave with your dignity intact. And leave the company files where they were!
I agree with smartmitch, don't burn bridges. If you want to end your job on the best note possible try and mend things, if you know that won't work quit. That way you are kind of leaving on your terms.
this happened to me, i knew i was going to get fired but i improved my work and changed my attitude in the last month i was there (it was hard to do that under the circumstances). i was still fired (because the process was already in the works) but the boss offered to give me a recommendation if ever i needed one.

And Caesar's spirit, ranging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice
Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war;
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial.
So be a man, get your dogs, march back into work, stand up straight and let em wreak all over the place.
How much do they pay?
If you are a cook at Macdonalds wreak havoc. If you are a the manger at a Fortune 500 company kiss *** like crazy.

Shoot. As of today, I'm in the same hole. I think I'm gonna wreak havoc. You should too.
Work hard, try to save your job so you'll get a decent letter of recommendation when you look for a new job.
