I put my check into my ex’s account because I lost my debit card. Now she won’t give me all my money back, what can I do about this?
I had a check under my name and lost my debit card so I put it in my ex’s account. She wasn’t supposed to touch the money. Now she won’t give me back the $3600, she only gave me $460. What do I do?
Your fault for not going to your bank to deposit the check into your account & replace your card. You deposited it in her account, and she has the money. All you can do is persuade her to do the honest thing & stick to her agreement to hand over the money to you.
Nothing really you CAN do, unless you hsve something in writing signed by her saying it's yours. You put it there voluntarily. /she can say it was a gift to her. If you do have something in writing from her, you can sue her in small claims court.
You can sue her but you would be wasting your time. You "gave" her the money. No written contract that it was a loan or that she will repay you. You gave her the money so stop complaining. Suing her would be throwing good money after bad.

Nothing. You gave it to her, so it's legally hers now. Your only option is to sue to get it back.

Make her an offer she can't refuse

Small claims court is your best option.

Marry your ex, and then you can get your money back.
