I keep trying to research the best way to plant them or keep them in the pot or something and the more I read, the more confused I get! Can someone break it down for me, speak to me like a 3 yr. old and explain to me what I am supposed to do? Please and thank you :)

generally if you have the option of putting them into the ground they will grow larger. If you need to keep it in pots make sure it's a nice large pot.
Otherwise you will get most experience if you just get started. Plant them into soil, keep enough distance between them that they won't crowd once they are mature. The tomato is going to need some support eventually, and it's going to make your life easier if you put it into what is called a cage (google plant cage for an idea what it is).
Otherwise you use common sense. Water if soil is try, don't water if already moist and plant looks happy.
Dig a hole in the dirt, take plant out of pot and place in the hole. Then fill the hole in and water plants.
Water daily and watch them grow. Tomatoes get quite large so you may need a tomato cage to support it depending on which type you have. The height will be stated on the stick that came with it.
Cucumbers are also very large plants that spread along the ground give it lots of room to do so.
Other then sun and water nothing more is needed. Just pull out the weed so they don't strangle your plants.
To get a continuously warm pepper, purchase habaneros. Pepper warmth, particularly jalapenos, variety by using area, soil, cultivation, form of seeds, and so on. I even have yet to locate a jalapeno pepper it is particularly warm. Habaneros, on the different hand, on no account disappoint me!
Make sure you break the roots up a little especially if they are all bound up, this will help them grow better.
