Yes. Vinylux polish works on everyone, pretty much. But using any top-quality topcoat should assist with chipping. Generally, the thinner and more frail the nail is the more they will chip (or if you have your hands in water a lot). Vinylux states "satisfaction guaranteed", so returning it for a full refund is always an option if it doesn't remain chip-free. Vinylux weekly top-coat is the best.

I don't know if you're a glitter-type of girl (as far as nail polish goes) but if you are.. glitter nail polish lasts for ever. You can't get glitter nail polish OFF, it seems to just stay there.. glittering away for ever. Even polish remover doesn't dissolve it as well as with regular nail polish. Any brand (even the dollar store glitter nail polish) will stay well past ones tolerance for it.

The stronger your nails, the less chipping, splitting and breaking. It's always best to start from the inside. The reason pregnant women's hair and nails grow so massively is due to the prenatal vitamins that their OB-GYN's supply. The vitamins and necessary minerals really do promote strength and growth for skin, nails and hair. So, it's worth buying either a good-quality one-a-day vitamin that contains vitamin(s) A, the B's, C, D, K, etc. or a vitamin supplement that's designed specifically for hair & nails (available at any large drug store, mart store, health food store, etc.).

Upping your lean proteins, leafy, green veggies, eliminating sweets and carbs, as well as high-sodium foods and upping your daily water intake to 2 liters daily (along with hair/nail vitamins) will result in a healthier you .. and that means stronger, more resilient nails and longer, healthier (faster-growing) hair.
