I'm not a professor of physics, but even I know that there is no sound in the vacuum of space, and even if there was, it could not travel at the speed of light, as depicted in those movies. Everywhere has the same gravitational pull as Earth, and things exceed the speed of light. But most of all I absolutely hate the fake accents. I have several friends who worship these movies and they don't understand me. How can I enplane to them how much these movies suck?

I really like the movies but as they are only movies it's nothing to get worked up about.
Let your friends enjoy them. I like the films and I know that sound doesn't travel through space. But if it didn't the movie would be far less entertaining, and that's what movies are for. if you want accuracy then a documentary is a better choice. Exceeding the speed of light is true, though they enter "Hyperspace" to do it.
Anyway, it's best to accept that Star Wars is not meant to be realistic, it's not really even science fiction.
The fake accents never annoyed me though, I don't usually notice that sort of thing.
Da Vinci code became according to a singular. Fiction. It wasn't lots "against" Chrisitianity as positing a "what-if" issue approximately an option history. back, it is FICTION. And, people have a dazzling to criticize Christianity. Christianity is built from a collection of ideals. Making video clips that fairly bash a collection of people is diverse. notably if it is the kind of element that would motivate particular components to violence in the direction of those communities. whilst became the final time you as a Christian have been discriminated against in the place of work or in public? whilst became the final time you had to pretend to not be Christian so people would not harangue or abuse you? Do you fairly should be like the Muslims who threatened Salman Rushdie with dying...for writing a singular?
By present knowledge of physics or science in general, any science fiction movie is going to seem like the Julius Verne's fantastic travel novels. However, many of the things that Julius Verne dream of in his novel are reality today.
Scientific theories get revised, edited, re-formulated, even abandoned and replaced by new ones, as more data becomes available. Who knows what science discover in the future? Maybe Einstein and Hawkins theories become obsolete in 50 or 100 years.
Don't bother, I make it clear to people I don't like football and yet I still have to put up with 'did you see how Nottingham forest got on yesterday'. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion I like Star Wars and other sci-fi films and tv but I know that others find it a little unbelievable and boring, I find soap operas boring but I put up with people discussing it and try to steer the conversation to other subjects that more of the people I work with like or have a opinion of
A film is a film, just let it go over your head. Do you think I enjoy watching rom-com and girlie films? No! But I put up with people who do cos it's that or divorce
Let me make something clear to you: it's FANTASY and/or science FICTION
Nobody can force you to like it, and you can't force other people to see the scientific fallacy. It's a lot like homosexuality!
We live in a democracy. Like/dislike whatever you want. I could care less.
Let me make this CLEAR: I HATE YOU
Okay, and this relevant to me for what reason?
