well maybe this is a time for you to focus on the person you are, not on how you look (and you are cute btw)----who you are is more important- you may know this already, but not to the extent where you understand it if you are all worked up over how you look. if all you want to do is pick chicks up at clubs then i guess you're out of luck- b/c they are there for vain reasons as well...

Well, I went through everything you just said ...but worse, and I turned out okay. I had braces and acne and NO GUYS ever asked me out in high school. Time cures all wounds, eventually my braces came off, and then my face cleared up, and then to make things better I started using proactive which helped 1000x's better. Your story reminds me of what I went through so much, but in the end when you make the drastic changes (braces off and pimples gone) these people you compare yourself to now may not look as good. Then you'll be the person THEY will compare themselves too, bcz this is only a temporary stage, they're 'having their day' and good time now, but then so will you too, and they may feel the way you do. Also, all these things make you a better person, cuz it teaches you how to treat people and not be stuck up.

There is someone out there for everyone. At 19, you still have plenty of time. I myself was a late bloomer. I lacked confidence growing up, was flat as a board and I wore glasses. Now I am 28, with a nice figure, I am proportionate, and I am admired by a lot of my friends. It takes time. Do what you can. Personally, I think braces are cute on a guy. When I opened your page I expected to see someone who was hideous. You are not even close to that. You're cute :)

you sound pretty low! I bet youre not always being compared to these twins, you'r confidence is low. what you need to do is sort out ourself first, so go maybe to your gp and get them to pescribe something for your acne, and braces aren't to bad! every day throughout the day tell yourself, you're awesome, you're hot, you're cool! if you belive it others will aswell! some one told me a few years ago, others only see me the way i see myself, at first i was like "yeah right thats the stupidist s**t i've ever heard!", but i started to think more confidently, i took up stuff, i hung out with new people and i feel so much better in myself!

And don't compare yourself to others! dont think "oh god i look so awful today!" think "wow my eyes look great today(err) "!! every time you think something negative, think of 2 positive things about yourself!

you need to first not be so hard on yourself i know its easier said than done but things get better in life trust me...you should worry about what you need to do for yourself because according to maslow in psychology you need to satisfy your needs before anyone else. the part about being compared to your friends, i would not let that bother me because your ur own person and not 2 people are the complete same and no one is better than anyone so relax dont stress, besides if you think about it this way: if the girls dont want you now than its their lost cuz you may be the best thing out there to them later on and they wouldnt know if they didnt try, right? besides theres always good and bad times in a relationship and girls and guys today only want the good but you need to deal with the bad too. well i hope i helped you a lil...good luck

your a pretty hot guy if u dnt mind me saying so. to be honest i think that if you wait it out you'll find someone that you really want to be with - u sed u have pretty bad acne.. i suggest trying something that contains witch hazel, as its great for the skin.. and braces are way hott on guys. don't worry too much about it, the more you think about it, the more a girl will notcice. first of all I think its ok that you're still a virgin. sometimes I wish i would have waited. I was only 14. Anyway I know it sounds cliche but beauty is only skin deep and the right person is out there and they are going to be with you for you. i think that you look good in your myspace pic. but the thing is even though you may not feel handsome now, later when you blossom you are gonna get all the good women, cuz these girls that ignore you because of your looks now are just vampid and silly and slutty. so not worth your time. and most women are attracted to confidence in guys not always their looks. so pull yourself together and build up your confidence cuz no one else can do that for you, but yourself. you have to believe that you are worth someone's time and if you don't show a girl that, they won't see it. chin up and man up buddy, you'll be fine.
