Do you agree with this quote: You don’t need to go through the darkness to find the light?
Is it just saying, in order to find the light or become happy, you don't need to go through hardships or the darkness? What is it saying exactly, and do you agree with it?
Miss Cat explained it perfectly. I agree with it in some sense, but everyone can always be happy, it's just the people who have had struggle appreciate the smaller things in life, i find.

Both. You can be happy without ever going through hardships, but you will appreciate/recognize happiness more if you have gone through hard times.
I don't necessarily agree with it, because I don't really get the moral behind it.
What happens if you're going through this supposed "darkness", and you're having trouble finding the light?
So what is the person who wrote this quote saying? "If you've got an okay life, don't get depressed because something good will happen"...?

No, I mean you can be very happy but you'll never understand how blessed you are or how beautiful it is.
Well, I am use to hearing "God will take you thru hell, just to get you to heaven."
