Use the lug wrench to ensure the lug nuts are tight, but I bet you will still have the problem. Places that do steering and suspension work do free visual inspections. It is not a scam; they bring in potential customers who seem to have front end problems and the mechanic gets a chance to see what is wrong so they can offer a decent estimate.
Don't put it off. Very bad things can happen with many steering and suspension failures.

lug wrench comes to mind, see if they are loose...seriously?
You put a socket and breaker bar on each lug nut and try to tighten them. If you have a torque wrench set it to 100 ft.lbs.
Jack the tires off the ground and shake them to see if the wheel bearings have play in them.
You mean you would come here and ask about it before you would actually have a look and try to tighten them all?
You have a problem, in any case.
Have a mechanic check your car.
Check them with a wrench.
You get a torc wrench and test them
You may have a wheel bearing problem.

You get out your lug wrench and check to see if the nuts are loose.
While the wheel is on the ground bearing weight, it'll be hard to know for sure, so your best bet is to:
(1) set the parking brake
(2) get out the jack put it under a solid part in that corner, lift until that wheel is just off the ground
(3) tighten all the lugs
If they are already tight, it could be your bearings or the steering system, or possibly there's something in that wheel well.
Try to tighten them, if they're loose you'll be able to.
