I'm trying to find a brand new copy of this DVD for my collection, and different listings state having 1 or 2 security strips. I'm not sure if every copy has the same amount or type of security strips, but this question is referring to the original release in 2001 in the snap DVD case. I'm trying to avoid buying a fake copy that someone has added their own security strips and resealed. Thank you for any answers, advice, or tips

"security strips" may be placed by the Vendor or the Store to trip or activate a Sound Alarm. Usually inside the container by the vendor.
However, a "Factory Seal" to indicate Tampering is an Adhesive (single use) strip fixed to the opening edge of the box. On some packaging it is merely the Shrink Wrap (which is easily counterfeited) More often it is a white label about three inches long and wide enough to cover the edge and overlap the box by a ¼ inch on the top & back.
You can see these at any DVD/CD store by examining the packaging.
"Security strips" are usually installed by the retailer rather than the manufacturer - they are matched to the particular security systems installed in that retailers stores.
Some stores use clear, hard security cases for discs on display and do not insert insert any tag in the disk packaging, they just remove the [tagged] outer case at checkout, so the film wrap is never punctured or disturbed.
The disc case itself would normally just have a film wrap with a tear strip embedded in it.
