Well, I would hope everybody uses soap, but even I didn't know that.
Pretty much everyone uses soap. However the origin of 'soap' originated with God. (fuller's soap)
Malachi 3:1-18
The fact of the matter: We our in the world and not of the world, just because we use things of the world does not mean we associate with the things of this world, if we are a true believer of God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we put our faith and believe in God holy word the bible first and foremost because God is the pillar and ground of truth and God is the foundation of everything that is created, seen and unseen.
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So it's Egyptian not Babylonian.......and what the hell difference does it make??
To summarize your information: Soap would have been known in Egypt, and therefore in regions having commerce with Egypt including the Jewish kingdoms, nearly a thousand years before those Jewish kingdoms came under any influence from Babylon.
You offered an interesting fact, so to reciprocate -- Abraham was also from that region, and chosen to become a means to bring about the rule of law and through his descendants in time a way for the redemption of any/all of mankind! That's a 'soap' of a high level!
Why would Christians care about where soap came from? Christians do not use identity politics like the ridiculous snowflakes on the Left do today. This is probably where your confusion comes from.
You should be asking the snowflakes on the Left why _they_ are using soap because it originated from Babylon that had slavery as part of its institution. It's a wonder that today's lefties are using _anything_ at all from the past since the entire past has been "racist" according to them.
Why does this question belong in R&S?
I think soap is one of those things which was invented more than once in various places. Remember the word "recorded."
Much of what runs this evil world originated in Babylon. Modern 'Commercial Law'
is based on Ancient Babylonian Codes. Of course we Christians are in this world but we are not of this world. (John 17:16)
I use soap and will continue to use soap all the days of my life. Why? Because I do NOT want to get mistaken for an atheist!
WE DO BUT WHO CARES? BODY WASH IS EVEN BETTER...HOWEVER TIRH..
