How is the best player in the Premiership only worth £35 million?
Looking at today's prices, Fabregas should be worth at least £50 million.

Update:@the grind......................Fabregas DOES NOT belong to Barcelona. He belongs to Arsenal. It should be treated like just any other transfer. Barcelona were stupid enough to let him go in the first place. He is a WORLD CLASS player, with still at least 3 years left of his contract. £30 million plus add-ons is not enough.

Makes me sick that a lanky vampire with no pace joined Liverpool for £35 million but one of the best center-attacking midfielders in the business is going for the same price.
Dan - Good though he was, and an idol he was, he was still nowhere near £35 million. £15 million TOPS. And that's only because he's English. And he still has no pace. A great head, good finish and can bully defenders really well but slow as fvck.
Even as a LFC fan i must admit, 35mil is too much but in saying that he is still very young n could go far for us, but who cares, Super Suarez is gonna rip up the PL, really dunno what NUFC are at, Carroll, Nolan, Enrique, all away and they bring in Obertan.. nothing special like, Mike Ashley needs so wise up our yous will go down again. LFC are defo on the UP!!
As for Fabregas he has been amazing for Arsenal and i hope him well at the biggest club in the planet, who in my opinion will win every game they're in with Messi, Villa, Sanchez, Iniesta, Xavi, Fabregas n that excellent defence, an dnt forget the amazing youth system, really cnt see anyone beat them..

Liverpool FC became in a hurry to sign a striker after the departure of Fernando Torres. in the event that they did no longer have a striker they might have basically had Suarez enjoying up front and probably Kuyt. i do no longer see a reason for a hurry in looking a striker especiallly after Carroll basically p[layed like 5 video games after he joined Liverpool. youthful isn't necessary as plenty besides. we've Rodriguez and Joe Cole who've benn enjoying okay at present. Meireles could additionally play on the left wing if Aquilani comes back.

I am not saying liverpool did not pay over the odds for carroll but I look at it in the light we swapped torres and babel for carroll and suarez and are spending less in wages
because he belongs to barcelona, why should a club have to spend that amount of money to sign their own player? it is so obvious he does not want to be there. fabregas is suffering at arsenal because his head and heart are at barcelona. haven't you heard what every barcelona player has been saying? they are the ones that know him best and aren't afraid to speak the truth.
