because he had a contract. the management wanted rid of him so honoured the contract. That's fair dos. If he'd stayed on he may have lost another £50m in sponsorship so the pay off was cheap.

the only way they could get rid of the idiot was to pay him off, no way would he have walked or resigned otherwise. so they paid off the contract so they could sack him...to be fair our players were rubbish aswell and they get paid loads... to busy making adverts and spending on their wags to be bothered about their country.. very disapointed in them, and who said patriarchy was dead??? haha oh well, we will survive x x
