I've got some homework which i'm a bit stuck on, we've done things like this in class but not the same type of question. I'd be really grateful if someone could show me how to work this out with clear steps that I can follow, as I've got a whole sheet with similar questions.
I need to rearrange this formula to make V the subject:
t=√2V/r

First multiply r on both sides and you'll be left with r * t = √2v
Then elevate both sides to the ^2 to cancel out the square root.
You'll be left with (r * t)^2 = 2v.
Then just divide by 2 and you'll be left with [ (r * t)^2 ] / 2 = V
