How do you go about “taking charge” or “being the man” or “wearing the pants” in a relationship?
The girl I’m dating says I have to be a little more like that but I don’t know what she means exactly. Help me out, please? Detailed descriptions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The problem here isn't that your not taking charge in this relationship, ... The problem is that your dating a female who can't (or won't) hold up HER end of the relationship.
She's expecting you to hold up both ends.
This attitude worked well back in the 40's and 50's ..... not so much today tho.
I recommend that you get back out there on the dating scene and find a female who lives in 2010.
You be the one to ignitiate things, like kisses and make out sessions. You pay for the dinners and make the decisions. Start conversations, and when you pick her up for a date, don't just beep the horn, go to the door and get her.
In a way this sorta happened to me. im not sure if you can relate to my age (18), but all you really have to do is take the direction of where you two wanna go. Like you make the choices and fight your battles.
When you take her out to dinner you tell the waiter.The lady will be having whatever it is you decide.Most guys generally know what their g/f likes.She will appreciate you remembering that.
She means she wants you to be in control. She wants you to be aggressive. When you see her tell her things like this "AYE GIRL COME HERE RIGHT NOW! and when she comes be like give me a kiss. Or when you see her grab her by her arm and kiss her. You know? Things like that. Them girls like them bad boys/girls.
Tell her what to do. When you two hang out, you decide what to do. She wants you to be more assertive. Basically, be an a** without going too far. You tell her what to do without going too far.
