Use shaving cream, those bumps and itchy irritation are from your skin not being used to the shaving. If you're already using shaving cream, try applying lotion to the area after shaving. Eventually they will go away, but right now your skin is very tender and the razor is rather abrasive.
Using an aftershave lotion with alcohol in it will help with ingrown hairs or dirt getting into the pores and try shaving with the "grain" of your hair instead of against it to lessen the irritation also.
omg i also got those dumb red dots. then my friend told me to exfoliate often and theyll go away. worked like a charm - just dont exfoliate on teh same day you shave.
