Hey, so basically, I'll try keep this short, no rude answers please, and 10 points for BA♥
Basically, there's this guy I met last Saturday who's really clingy with me, he lives out the country a while away from my town, and on Monday he invited himself along to see me ( he randomly texted me "thinking of coming town on Saturday to see you:) " I couldn't say..." uuuuuh, no " ) but basically, if I go to see him today it's gonna be mega awkward, plus he'll probably bring me somewhere quiet so we can be alone and stuff, and I don't want that :/
I basically want to cancel on him like right now, I'm thinking of telling him that my mom's forcing me to go shopping in the city with my sister so I can't go and that I'm really sorry and stuff, but how would I say this in a text? :/ Advice please? Plus I have to text him cuz we've never talked on the phone or anything.. ♥

Don't blame it on anyone else. There's no need to make up a lie that you have to remember later on. Telling him maybe another time is like lying all over again. It doesn't sound like you would make it another time either.
Let him know that you can't make it, but you don't have to say why. All you have to do is text him, tell him you can't make it and that you will let HIM know what might be a good time at a later date. You're just too busy right now with the holidays. No one else has to be involved and you are not hurting anyone else's feelings.
Watch how you interact with him after wards though. Don't make it too obvious you're not interested, but don't go acting like you are willing to do this again by going overboard with guilt.
