TR probably would have intervened in WWI in 1914 had he been reelected. TR was much more aggressive in his foreign policy. His famous line was "walk softly, but carry a big stick." It's good advice but I'm not even sure if he listened to it because carried a big stick, but he really didn't walk softly (Spanish-American War).
