Simple answer: YOU CAN'T!!!!!
Meat-eaters who claim "I still love cows and chickens" yet devour their dead bodies for dinner are soooooooo clueless. How can you love something and still support its torture and death? It just doesn't make any sense!! Am I right?

Absolutely true.
100% agree and support what you just said....
They should think deeper and start to open their souls and hearts... that might change things a bit... but they're afraid, because they know they might actually start to FEEL something!!!!
The human body is designed to ingest meat. We're predators. Our bodies were designed to eat meat and gain the fat and proteins from it. I am a meat eater because that is what my bodies need. It's the same with all the other predators out there. Wolves hunt because that's what their bodies ask for. Bears fish because that's what their bodies ask for.
Human beings, if we hadn't developed intelligence and gone on to create civilizations and the process we use for sending bulk meat throughout the world, would still be living in little tribes and hunting for their own food, because that's what their bodies need.
I still think little elk babies are cute, and so are wolf pups and ducks and kitty cats. However, just like all those creatures, my body is meant to have certain foods, and if I don't stick to that, I risk screwing up some pretty bad things in my body.
I love my cats, I can't say I love a cow or chicken I have never met.
Edit: Hello again Jessica, it's hypocrite and buffoons, not hippocrits and bafoons.
Humans are omnivores, not "meat-eaters". You've now been made slightly less clueless.
I've never seen anyone make the claim that they love the animals they eat. Generally, when people say they love animals, they are referring to pets. The majority of people do not keep chickens and cows as pets, they are raised as food 99% of the time.
Everything you eat is a living thing. Just because it doesn't have a face doesn't mean it has no feelings. You cut the branch off a tree and the branch withers and dies! Think about it. Vegans make the choice not to eat meat but what you're doing posting on here is no different than me saying all athiests are going to hell. It's not a fact. It is an opinion.
Because many of these so-called animal lovers only love those that are cute and cuddly. If they really loved and cared about animals then they would take a stand against terrible situations the capitalist meat industry commits for profit.
The meat industry comes in packets or in supermarkets and people dont see the real animal. They find it hard to relate their food to the animals and ignore that they are eating the things they claim to love.
I have never said I love cows. I respect cows. There's nothing wrong with eating animals.
If you love cows why don't you have a herd in your back yard. After you spend all of your money and tme feeding and careing for them this winter, you might not love them so much. Either way I can guarantee you that they will happily eat the food, but not love you back.
I don't understand how you can love animals but they die for your diet. Works both ways, some of you even stand for human rights but there you are on your computer, parts of which supplied through child slave labour, rape and muitilation of woman.
It's easy, we have being doing it for thousands of years but a lot of us still respect what we eà t.
Did you know that by your blind rage and ranting your supporting intensive farming because the lack of support to organic/free range. How can you live with yourself.
Well. I only agree with eating animals that were treated well; free range etc. I love animals and I try my hardesrt to eat good quality meat. But I do agree with your POV so I think it all. Depends on your opinion and it is a lot easier to eat meat than be veggie. That is why. I respect non meateaters
Its your opinion. Whether you are right or wrong is still to be determined.
I bet you LOVE animals and yet millions of animals were killed, maimed, displaced, homes destroyed in the planting growing and harvesting of said produce.
Ever see what a quail, partridge or rabbit looks like after a combine goes over the nest? Not pretty.
Neither are all the wetland birds and other animals who are left homeless when wetlands are reclaimed to gain more tillage acreage to grow produce.
Because you don't eat them doesn't mean animals weren't killed to provide you with your soy beans, tofu, salad and fruits.
