1/ Le grand ___________???? WTF it becomes the writing style doctors use on prescriptions at that point I can't read it.
2 : Le (livre?) de ______

Maybe you can extrapolate from what I wrote.
Also, it's not a mistake from me that the numbering in the end uses / first and then uses : the person who wrote that just changed.
The century is not indicated, but it's written on what seems to be a postcard which appeared in France after the war of 1870. So it's in 1938 and the person it's adressed to is titled "secrétaire perpétuel" of what is probably the Académie française. Therefore, this letter is probably for Georges Goyau, who accessed this title in January 1938.
