My best friend  and i asked each other out last night...we were both trying to act casual about it and I told him I would sleep over it

In the morning I sent him a good morning text and then began telling him how I though it was a dream last night  about him asking me out and how I woke up smiling..he isn't up yet or ive probably  overwhelmed him. the last thing I wanted to sound like was an overexcited puppy who is too excited about him..before I even know what he thinks.I feel like I've sounded way too eager and I'll scare him off and he will wake up feeling overwhelmed and suffocated..what should I do???
